Team Groups: Men’s Division 1, Men’s Social Side, Women’s  side, Men’s U-19 (born on or after January 1, 1991), Men’s  U-17 (born on or after January 1, 1993), Women’s U-19 (born on or after January 1, 1991),  and U-15 boys.

The purpose of this fun based tournament is to help raise scholarship funds for youth rugby in North Carolina. Four scholarship pools are being established to help fund youth players at all levels:

Team Level Scholarships: Scholarship is used to help establish new youth teams in North Carolina and individual players who may have difficulty paying their respective team’s registration fee.

All-Star Scholarship: This scholarship is used to help off set costs of All-Star participation for individual players who may have a needs based requirement to fulfill their All-Star registration and travel expenses.

USA Select Players: This pool of money is to be used to help players who are invited to USA U-20, High School All-American teams camps and/or makes the national teams to offset the cost of travel.

Collegiate Scholarship: The Collegiate Scholarship Fund is true a college academic/sports scholarship for a player who has a high GPA from his high school and is committed to play rugby at the college he/she attends.

The site for the July 10th and 11th 2010 Carolina 7’s Rugby Tournament will be Elon Park. Charlotte, NC. There are 4 ultra modern turf fields. Elon Park features adequate bathroom facilities and plenty of parking. Food and equipment vendors will be in attendance and we will have nearby sponsors that will be happy to entertain your team dinner/refreshment needs.  Below is the address and link.
